Job description
Cover Supervisors needed

A number of Secondary Schools across West London are recruiting for Cover Supervisors for daily, short term and long term positions.

You will :-

• have some experience of working with Secondary aged children, either within a school setting or tutoring experience.

• be responsible for taking classes across the age range of key stage 3-5 for absent teachers and will be expected to provide instruction to the class as directed by the class teacher.

• maintain good order, keep students on task and foster positive relationships with them as a professional role model.

• be expected to register each class at the beginning of each lesson. You will be expected to cover a range of subjects.

This role would be beneficial to an aspiring teacher who would like to gain experience in education prior to applying to the GTP / PGCE route.
