Working as a cover supervisor can be a rewarding but challenging experience and requires patience, adaptability and a can-do attitude.
A cover supervisor's main job is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set. You could be covering a range of lessons across the curriculum.

It is important to note that you don't have to hold a recognised teaching qualification or have a subject specialism to work as a cover supervisor. The key to success in the role is to be able to build a rapport with children and manage large groups

Experience working with young people would be beneficial, but we would welcome applications from candidates who have a background in supporting others in a variety of sectors.

A motivation to work with and improve outcomes for young people is essential.

We would be really interested to hear from candidates who have experience working in settings such as youth work, youth offending services, the emergency services, creative industries, sports coaching.
Work will be available on Monday - Friday, from 2-5 days a week (between the hours of 8.30-3.30) during term time. You will have the flexibility to choose which days you would like us to find you work.
Free training will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
