Protocol are seeking for outgoing and confident individuals to fulfill Cover Supervisor roles in Secondary Schools in the Tyne and Wear.

This work is flexible and can range from daily, short-term and long-term lesson cover on a part-time or full-time basis with potential to go permanent. This is a perfect opportunity for those looking to jump start their career in Education and Teaching.

The role of the Cover Supervisor demands flexibility and initiative. Your focus will be on supporting progress by providing classroom supervision for students whose regular teacher is absent. You will be expected to deliver pre-planned learning activities and establish productive working relationships with students in a stimulating and orderly learning environment.

As a Cover Supervisor you will be covering the absence of a teacher and supervising classes of students in either P.E, Drama or General Cover lessons.

The ideal Candidate will have/be:
• Flexible working hours
• A genuine interest for working with young people
• Confidence to deliver pre planned lessons
• Confidence to manage and control behaviour
• Experience in leading groups of children
• Be aware and comply with safeguarding measures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
