Are you a sports coach or PE graduate looking for your next steps to become a PE teacher?
Protocol Education are recruiting for future PE teachers to work in secondary schools across Sunderland as cover supervisors.
Working as a cover supervisor will allow you to utilise the skills you have built up in coaching, while also help you gain classroom experience before you begin your teacher training course.
We are recruiting for cover supervisors to work in secondary schools across Sunderland, in areas such as Washington, Hendon and Ashbrook. Work will also be available in South Tyneside.

A cover supervisor is responsible for covering the class in the absence of the teacher. You will deliver a pre-planned lesson, monitor class behaviour and report any safeguarding concerns. You will support teaching staff and students by providing classroom cover, implementing set work, monitoring students and providing lesson/student feedback to teaching staff in schools across Sunderland and the surrounding areas of South Tyneside.
You will deliver pre-planned lessons across the curriculum including PE.

Positions are ongoing to start immediately. This is the perfect opportunity for those candidates looking for flexible work. Work will be available 3-5 days a week (Monday-Friday during term time).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
