Protocol Education are recruiting for cover supervisors to work in schools throughout Sunderland and South Tyneside.
Experience of working with children is desirable but not essential - we will consider graduates who are interested in a career in teaching. Many of our current cover supervisors come from a range of background including graduates, sports coaches, scout leaders or even a police or military background.
Cover supervisors are in extremely high demand at the moment, we can guarantee you work. The role involves covering a range of lessons within a secondary school setting for teachers that are absent. Work will be provided for the children, the Cover Supervisor has to share and explain this work and also make sure a calm learning environment is maintained at all times.
The role of a Cover Supervisor is ideal for those who are considering a career in teaching, as you get the opportunity to develop your classroom presence, without the added workload of planning or marking work.
Please note that this is not a teaching role. All work will be pre-planned and set for you. Free training will also be provided. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking for flexible working opportunities as work will be available 3-5 days a week during term time.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
