We are seeking cover supervisors for secondary schools across East London and the surrounding areas including, Ilford, Barking, Dagenham, Redbridge, Newham, Tower Halmets & Waltham Forest.

The role of a cover supervisor is to monitor class behaviour ensuring students are getting on with their tasks. The role of a Cover Supervisor would suit someone who has worked with children or young adults previously and has a passion to make a difference in young peoples lives.

Experience of working in a school setting previously is NOT required, we offer a thorough training programme to provide you with the tools required to be a successful Cover Supervisor.

The role

  • Provide students with work which has been set by the teacher and respond to any questions from students whilst monitoring the classroom
  • Collate completed work sheets to return to the Teacher at the end of the day
  • Maintain a clear, orderly environment in which the highest standards of learning take place during cover lessons.
  • Set clear and concise learning objectives for the class.
  • Provide feedback at the end of your day

Flexible working days hours of 8:30am-15:30pm available Monday-Fridays, full-time and part-time available to suit you. Please apply immediately!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
