Job description
Secondary KS3 & KS4 Computer Science Teacher Required Immediate Start.

Protocol Education are currently looking to recruit a Secondary Computer Science Teacher with a specialist in Maths who can deliver both subjects to KS3 & KS4, with a timetable of 80% Computer Science, 20% Maths. This is an exciting opportunity, and we are on the search for an experienced, pro-active teacher who has a proven track record of raising attainment, and a passion for the subject specialism.

This role is long term position at an outstanding Academy based in the borough of Ealing. The school have around 2000 students on roll and have just been awarded world class school status by Ofsted. The school are dedicated and passionate about delivering high quality and engaging learning, and we are looking for a Teacher who shares the same ethos!

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will obtain a vibrant approach to teaching and learning, with drive to ensure that students of all aptitudes and abilities reach and exceed their full academic and personal potentials. You will be expected to carry out all duties of that of a permanent member of staff including marking, faculty meetings, parent meetings etc.

• Have a minimum of 1-2 years previous experience delivering the national curriculum for Computer Science/ Maths
• QTS status or equivalent
• Be dedicated, reliable and committed to ensuring the success of students
• Be able to plan and execute interesting and exciting lessons
• A supportive leader and role model with outstanding team working skills
• Able to provide two recent school-based references
• Must have DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one
