We’re working with secondary schools across Shropshire looking for enthusiastic Chemistry Teachers to join their teams immediately and for long-term roles starting in September.

Whether you’re an experienced teacher looking for your next challenge or an ECT ready to step into the classroom for the first time, we’ve got flexible opportunities to suit you, with both part-time and full-time positions available.

These schools are looking for teachers who can bring science to life, spark curiosity, and help students build confidence in a subject that can sometimes feel a little overwhelming.

What you’ll be doing:

• Teaching Chemistry across KS3 and KS4
• Planning and delivering engaging, practical science lessons
• Supporting students of mixed abilities to achieve their potential
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Marking, assessment, and contributing to departmental planning
• Building strong relationships with pupils and colleagues

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Hold UK QTS or are completing your teacher training
• Are an experienced Chemistry Teacher or an ECT ready to get started
• Can deliver engaging lessons that make science accessible and exciting
• Bring strong classroom management and a positive attitude
• Want to work in supportive schools where staff wellbeing matters
• Are passionate about helping young people succeed in science

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
