Job description
Protocol Education are currently working with an exceptional Independent Secondary school in Hertfordshire, to recruit an experienced Secondary Science teacher who can confidently deliver Biology to KS4 and undertake some additional extra curricular activities as required.

The school prides itself on the quality of it's teaching staff and their subject knowledge, aiming to ensure each student is both encouraged and supported to reach their full potential.

*Please Note: This is a Full Time Maternity Cover Position, with a January 2019 start date and immediate interviews available for the right candidates*

The potential candidates must have strong organisational skills and a commitment to teaching and learning.
This position is open to experienced teachers as well as NQTs.
The successful Secondary Biology Teacher will be supported by an excellent senior leadership team and have access to on-going professional development.

To be considered for this position you must be;

- A qualified Secondary Science teacher with QTS.
- Able to teach engaging Science lessons, specifically in Biology to GCSE.
- Dedicated to ensuring each child continually progresses.
- An enthusiastic teacher and have a flexible approach to work.
- Able to develop and implement schemes of work.
- Able to plan and prepare effective teaching modules and lessons.
- Be able to motivate and inspire their pupils whilst improving levels of pupil attainment.
