Job description
Do you have a qualification in Art and/or Design? You could be thinking about pursuing a career in education and need some experience in a relevant role? Protocol Education are looking for Art & Design technicians across the South east London boroughs. Please see below for more details on your job role.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Assist teaching staff with practical and technical support needs
• Preparing, assembling and testing of materials, tools and apparatus for use in lesson
• Assisting with demonstrations when required
• Maintaining stock levels within department and carrying out checks
• Ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed by all students
• Compile written and or/ verbal feedback on students progress
• Ensure students remain focused and uphold school values

The successful candidate will:
• Have a working knowledge of an Art and/or Design subject
• Be educated to degree level or equivalent
• Hold or be able to apply for a DBS that is on the update service
• Have experience working in a secondary school or with key stage 3 + 4 students
