Job description
Protocol education are currently seeking several SEBD teachers on behalf of a centre based in Aveley.

Required full time to start after October half term. Applicants with experience teaching English and Maths at KS3 are an added bonus. Newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply to this role with a very supportive environment and a great stepping stone in your career, to increase your behaviour management skills for mainstream education.

This is a specific centre for students with behavioural, emotional and/or social difficulties. Currently with 20 students ranging from years 7-11 and a high ratio of staff to students compared to mainstream education settings. This high ratio allows for very small teaching groups of 3-5 students at a time, and one-to-one sessions where required.

The lead teacher provides a very supportive environment and has in place a very good reward scheme for the students.

The aim is to create students who can make a positive contribution to the wider community and are confident about themselves and provide an inclusive, happy, secure and stimulating environment.
