A secondary SEBD school located in Northamptonshire require a Science Teacher with outstanding behaviour management skills. You must have a strong and nurturing personality and have the ability to improve behaviour for learning in the classroom.
The school serves children from Northamptonshire, providing long term intervention for children aged between 11-18 years old who are struggling to cope in mainstream settings and whose behaviour potentially puts them at risk of permanent exclusion.
This particular role is a full time, ongoing post starting as soon as possible.
The school are happy to work with strong mainstream teachers who are determined to make a difference who may not have SEN/SEBD experience
Pupils are taught to the National Curriculum. Staff personalise learning to meet the individual students' needs. You will therefore be able to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons so that each pupil can achieve their individual objectives.
The ideal candidate will:
Be a fully qualified teacher with QTS
Have outstanding behaviour management skills
Desirably have SEN/SEBD experience
Be determined to make a difference
Hold the right to work in the UK
Have a DBS or are willing to complete one
