Job description
Do you have a passion for science and feel you would like to explore this passion more? Do you like experimenting with different materials? Do you feel you could contribute to a Science department in a secondary school?

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a Science Technician to start work as soon as possible at a school in Swindon.

A Science Technician will provide daily support to the lead teacher and assist with the running of the science experiments and daily lessons. You would never plan the lessons but you may be required to prepare the experiments for the day or any other materials needed by the Science teacher. The school is looking for the ideal candidate who would like to make this a career option. It helps to have consistent and reliable assistance in the science department. Plus, the students benefit from consistent/familiar faces. This role is permanent and full-time.

In order to apply for this role you must have the following:

• Experience working with children
• Reference information for the last five years
• UK eligibility to work, an enhanced DBS dated within the last year or willingness to have one undertaken at the cost of £44
• The ability to be flexible and adaptable on a daily basis
