Job description
Physics Teacher - Doncaster - Starting September

Academy School - Temporary post open to experienced and newly qualified teachers

Are you an experienced or newly qualified teacher of science with a specialism in Physics?

Would you like to work in a large mixed academy school that has seen rapid improvement and is looking to continue the trend?

Protocol is working with this excellent school who are looking to find a Physics specialist for a September Start!

• Physics Teacher (KS3-5) - September 2019
• Excellent behaviour throughout and students that are keen to learn
• Large mixed Academy School with improving results
• New department with excellent support from the SLT

About the School
• This modern Academy school requires a science teacher to join from September who can teach Physics through to A-Level. The school has better than average results at both GCSE and A-Level.
• Science is a popular subject at the school and the role would be to teach general science to GCSE but with some A-Level Physics. This school has excellent behaviour throughout the key stages and high expectations for its pupils.
• Results have been steadily improving and this year's attainment at both KS4 and 5 are expected to be the best the school has produced.

About the Role
• The school looks for teachers that put a lot of energy into their lessons, have strong classroom presence and can inspire independent thinking.
• The ability to manage behaviour is essential although this is one of the strong points at the school.
• The school is open to seeing applications from teachers at any stage of their career, with potential responsibility on offer for experienced teachers and a great induction programme available for NQT's.
• This is a great school that is developing and will be able to offer career progression so ambitious teachers are most welcome.
