Job description
Protocol Education is a leading specialist recruitment agency working within the Education sector, we are currently recruiting for a Science Teacher for a well established large secondary school in the Northumberland area.

The ideal Candidate will be enthusiastic about both their subject and engaging with their pupils, possess a real passion to help pupils maximise their potential is essential. They will also be comfortable working with students with a large ability range and have excellent behaviour management skills.

The role will require the ability to teach Key Stages 3 and 4 and requires a high level of behavioural management and drive to ensure each student reaches their potential.

Essential requirements:
• A Qualified Teacher Status (either a PGCE or Cert Ed.)
• Very good knowledge of the British National Curriculum and the ability to plan differentiated work.
• A valid DBS on the Update Service or willing to undertake one.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Excellent teaching references.

As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
