Are you a teacher of Science who can specialise in Biology or Chemistry?

Can you deliver exciting and challenging Science lessons to academic students at GCSE and A-Level?

I am supporting a Secondary school to recruit a GCSE / A-Level Science specialist for a role to start in January 2017. The role will be a full time appointment

In this job you will get the opportunity to teach KS3 General Science, KS4 (GCSE) option classes in General Science and either Biology or Chemistry and may be able to teach an element of the A-Level curriculum. You will teach students that are engaged and enthusiastic about the subject and who have a keen learning mentality.

This school, based near Sittingbourne and been awarded good by Ofsted although they have been commended for some outstanding elements. The school has strong leadership and a very good middle management team. They are renowned for their CPD and the overall support afforded to teaching staff. Most Science lessons are supported by technicians and teaching assistants to enable the delivery of more practical, engaging lessons.

In this Science teaching job you will need:
• The ability to teach Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 optional)
• A Willingness to engage and embrace enthusiastic classes
• The ability to stretch and challenge academic students
• The experience to manage challenging behaviour
• The knowledge of current and innovative teaching methodologies
