Science Teacher Wanted

Are you a qualified Science Teacher able to teach all 3 sciences to KS3 and KS4to GCSE and BTEC level? Are you looking to secure a long term teaching position as a Teacher of Science for the academic year 2017/18?

This provider of education located within Birmingham are looking to appoint a Science Teacher to a long term supply cover for an immediate start after the Summer holidays for the duration of the academic year. The position is offered on a full time, 5 day a week basis and will see the successful applicant teaching all 3 sciences to KS3 and KS4 pupils.

You will join a provider that has been through a significant period of transition, joining a team that have established a real impetus under a new dynamic and inspiration leadership team. The new Leadership team have implemented high standards throughout with high expectations of staff and pupils, with staff passionate about their profession, their employer and the new vision and values that are being embedded throughout.

Located within Birmingham LEA this education provider is found to the East of the city centre within easy commutable distance from surrounding areas in Birmingham and Solihull. This is a large provider well above the average sized secondary school. Pupils come from a diverse set of backgrounds with the majority of pupils coming from ethnic minorities with a significant proportion of pupils speaking English as an additional language. Their catchment area covers an area of significant deprivation with over half of pupils eligible for the pupil premium with a higher than average number of pupils with special needs.
