Science Teacher Position in Barnsley.
A Barnsley based school for children with Social, Emotional and behavioural needs is seeks a GCSE Science teacher. The role includes working in various sites around Barnsley delivering Science to Secondary aged pupils. All of the students who attend the school have additional needs therefore having a flexible teaching approach is imperative. This state of the art school has excellent learning resources and a close knit team of teachers, Teaching assistant and therapists. Therefore the ideal applicant should have strong communication skills and be confident when liaising with staff and parents.
Other qualification applicants should have:
- Behaviour management training ( EG Team Teach)
Other skills which are desirable:
- Experience working with children and young people with Emotional and behavioural difficulties
- Experience teaching GCSE Science
- Interactive teaching approach.
