My client are currently seeking a qualified teacher of Science to commence teaching in the Autumn term - for one term initially although this may be extended depending on performance. Previous short-term contracts at this school have transitioned into permanent roles, so if you are currently seeking a permanent role that may also be a possibility subject to review.
The school has recently expanded their science department and is now seeking a qualified teacher of science who is capable of teaching from KS3 to KS4. Experience of teaching A level is desirable as the school does have a sixth form provision, but it is not a requirement for this particular role. You will ideally hold a subject specialism in either biology, chemistry, or physics, but candidates who have extensive experience in teaching general science will also be considered.
Behaviour at this school is excellent - all students show a great deal of respect to members of staff and take genuine pride in their achievements while attending here. The school was last inspected in 2013 and received a "Good" grade with some Outstanding features.
