Job description
My client, a large oversubscribed school in the Leicester area, are currently seeking a qualified teacher of Science from August 2016.

The school is now under new leadership and the SLT are seeking a teacher who is passionate about bringing change to the school with a view to raise standards across the board. This is a challenging environment, so no two days will the same, but in return you will get the opportunity to develop yourself as an educator, and there is the strong possibility of a long term permanent contract for the right candidate.

You will ideally be a qualified teacher of Science, specialising in either Biology, Chemistry or Physics, with experience teaching from key stages 3 to 4. Due to the nature of the environment, strong behaviour management is a must, and you must be dedicated to raising standards within the school. Unfortunately NQT's will not be considered at this time.

To be successful for this role you must have:

•QTS and eligibility to work within the UK.

•Extensive subject knowledge.

•Strong interpersonal skills.

•Sound behaviour management.

•The passion and drive to help the school and its students at a pivotal time

Protocol Education are one of the UK's leading teaching agencies. Our commitment to our candidates is second to none, and we work tirelessly on behalf of our clients and candidates. As a member of team, you will enjoy the following benefits:

•A dedicated consultant that understands your requirements

•Industry leading rates of pay

•Regular (and free) CPD courses

•Expert career advice aimed at ensuring you can move freely within your career

For more information, or to discuss the above role, contact Leigh on 0116 285 1615 or send your CV to Leigh.edwards@protocol-education.com

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
