Protocol Education are partnered with Secondary Schools across Bristol (and North Somerset) to help them find talented Science students and graduates in Bristol to work as Unqualified Teachers / Cover Supervisors, either full or part-time around studies, and become part of the wider school community. In this role, you’ll step in for absent teachers, primarily covering Science lessons, while also being happy to support across other subjects when required. All lessons are pre-planned, so your focus is on managing the classroom and guiding pupils through set tasks. You’ll be a calm, warm and encouraging presence, while also being clear, authoritative and consistent.
No teaching qualifications or school experience are needed. If you’re reliable, punctual and confident communicating with young people, we’ll provide all training for free.

CV covering 10 years of work and education history, with gaps explained
2 years of references, including childcare references where applicable
Overseas Police Check if you have lived overseas for 3 months or more in the last 5 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
