Job description
Teacher of Science - Unmissable opportunity at an Outstanding located in Tower Hamlets.

Protocol Education are currently seeking an engaging and inspirational teacher of Science to work at our client school based in the London borough of Tower Hamlets. This is a great long-term opportunity starting ASAP until the end of the academic year. The ideal practitioner will be required to deliver the UK science curriculum up to KS5 and must hold excellent specialist knowledge. You will need to demonstrate a proven solid track record of raising attainment and passion towards the academic development of pupils.

It has been successfully running for 4 years, providing an exciting view of cutting-edge scientific research alongside exploration of scientific areas in greater depth than lessons allow.

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate the below:

• QTS Status or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience delivering Science lessons up to KS5 within a UK mainstream setting
• Ability to demonstrate methods of assessment
• Passion and enthusiasm for the subject
• Commitment and reliability
• Hold DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one
• Able to provide two school-based references
