The Role

As a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Assist with practical experiments and laboratory activities
• Deliver one-to-one and small-group interventions
• Help students develop scientific knowledge, enquiry skills and confidence
• Support pupils preparing for GCSE Science examinations
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation, demonstrations and classroom activities
• Gain first-hand experience of classroom teaching, behaviour management and student support

You'll become part of a supportive Science department that is passionate about delivering engaging practical lessons and inspiring the next generation of scientists.

We're Looking For

• A degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or another Science-related subject
• Graduates considering a career in secondary teaching
• Strong subject knowledge and communication skills
• Positive, enthusiastic and proactive individuals
• Someone who can build positive relationships and inspire curiosity in young people

Previous experience working with children or young people is beneficial but not essential.
