Protocol Education is currently recruiting a full-time School Receptionist to join a friendly and welcoming school in BS37, Yate, Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive school community where you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.

As the first point of contact for parents, pupils, visitors, and staff, you'll provide a professional and welcoming service while supporting the wider administration team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming visitors, parents, pupils, and staff to the school.
• Managing incoming telephone calls, emails, and general enquiries.
• Providing administrative support to the school office.
• Maintaining accurate pupil records and updating school systems.
• Supporting attendance, admissions, and general office administration.
• Following safeguarding procedures, including visitor sign-in processes.
• Assisting the Senior Leadership Team with administrative tasks when required.

Essential requirements:

• Previous experience working as a School Receptionist or within a school office is mandatory.
• Experience in a Primary, Secondary, or Specialist School setting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a busy office environment.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Experience using SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom, or ScholarPack is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
