Job description
Protocol Education is recruiting for an experienced Caretaker to work on a full-time basis 8am - 4pm with a potential permanent role in a mainstream primary school in Dagenham.

You will be required to work 5 days per week begenining ASAP.

The role will include carrying out general caretaking duties such as opening and closing the premises, basic maintenance/repairs, emptying bins, checking stock and restocking domestics/hygiene. You will need to be physically able and confident to deal with manual labour tasks and have the attitude of a problem solver, working in a school the tasks you will be required to assist with can vary daily.

As an assistant caretaker you will work closely with the School Business Manager and Site Manager. You would be required to be available for holiday/sickness cover for our current site team where you would be responsible for locking/unlocking the premises.

You will also be required to work within our Design Technology department. You will have the necessary skills and experience to undertake the preparation of wood, acrylics and other consumable materials ready for lessons.

You will benefit from excellent support and inspiration with a collegiate all through staff team. The role is available to start ASAP so don't hold back!
