Job description
The successful candidate will be expected to work full time in a lovely school in Finchley

The role involves looking after the maintenance and security of our school premises and ensuring a safe environment. You will be required to have a good knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, the ability to maintain and update premises and site records and at least basic DIY/maintenance skills.

Applicants need to have had at least 1 year experience working as a School Caretaker

JOB DESCRIPTION

Role : The school caretaker is responsible, through the Head Teacher and Employer,

for a wide range of duties and responsibilities connected with the fabric and

grounds of the School premises.

Line Manager : Head Teacher
• INTRODUCTION

1.1. A full time caretaker will normally work the hours specified in the employment contract.

Hours to be worked will coincide with the attendance of cleaners on the premises.

1.2. Lettings/Hire (see below) do not include regular openings, or openings during normal

working hours. They do not include school functions, i.e. parents evenings,

performances, governors meetings, etc.
