Job description
Protocol Education is currently looking for a Consultant School Business Manager to join the team of one of our GOOD' (rated by Ofsted) primary schools in the London Borough of Brent.

The role can be a part-time or full-time depending from the availability of a candidate. You will have strong communication and administrative skills and will be a quick learner. You will have previous experience working in a school setting and supporting school's HR department.

The successful applicant will be responsible for daily resource management of financial procedures and will support HR and administrative team. You will provide strategic financial and administrative planning and implementation and develop ideas to find alternative revenue streams, including events and promotions. On top of this you will provide an excellent customer service and assistance to parents and children when required. You will also liaise with outside parties and solve problems when the need arises. You will report directly to the Headteacher and will be expected to attend relevant training and meetings and take part in the school's Performance management meetings.
The successful applicants must:

- Have at least 2 years administrative experience in a school setting
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, be friendly and polite to students, parents and all visitors coming to the school.
- Have good experience using the school database, e.g SIMS and Integris.
- Have strong organisational and time management skills.
- Have the ability to move quickly and think on your feet when things get busy.
- Have the confidence to work autonomously.
- Be experienced in managing school budget
- Be committed and dedicated.
- Be flexible as the overtime must be required.
- Be eligible to work in the UK.
- Possess valid DBS on the update Service or willing to undertake one.
- Posses valid references (and police checks, if applicable).
