Job description
A School Administrator/Receptionist is required on a long term basis at a Leicester City Secondary School. This is a large diverse and modern school that has established an enviable reputation for their contribution to the community, but also for a culture where teamwork, pride and opportunity mark them out from others.

As the school administrator/receptionist your duties will include General school administrator tasks, dealing with pupils and staff, telephone calls, etc, administration of school sanctions, bookings and room changes, administration of school trips, administrative support for our outreach initiatives, administrative support for various departments and administration for Activities Week. It would be advantageous if you have SIMS experience.

We are seeking applicants with a positive can-do attitude who are able to work pro-actively and flexibly in a fast-paced team-based environment and have the ability to respond positively to change. Providing front line service to students, academic and administrative staff, external organisations and regulatory bodies, you will quickly and effectively build and maintain strong customer-focused working relationships. The successful candidate will have knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010. In addition you should be able to demonstrate a solution-focused professional approach to tasks, be able to prioritise your own workload and be an effective team player. Successful candidates will be committed to working in a flexible team-based environment.
