Job description
We are currently recruiting for a Nursery Nurse or similar qualified professional to work in a Rotherham based nursery. The nursery looks after children aged between 6 weeks and 5 years, in 3 rooms. The Nursery is rated Outstanding' by OFSTED, with a supportive and experienced team of staff.

We are looking for a Nursery Nurse candidate with a minimum of 1 years' experience of working in an early year's role and a Cache Level 3 qualification or equivalent

Role Responsibilities:
• Plan and resource work for children in the nursery according to their needs and the nursery curriculum.
• Assess the children against their personalised targets and milestones.
• Ensure the safety of all children in your care according to current safeguarding guidelines.
• General housekeeping of the rooms
• Serving meals
• Some personal care responsibilities with the younger children (toileting and nappy changing)

Person Specification
• An NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent in Childcare and Education
• At least one years' experience working with an Early Years setting.
• Knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum.
• A strong understanding of child development.
• A passion for working with the under-fives.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• The ability to use your own initiative.
• An understanding of all nursery duties.
