Job description
Protocol are looking for an energetic, passionate and motivated Early Years Professional to join our team with some of our Nurseries we have located in Essex.
If leading a team and putting your imprint on developing a quality provision is your dream, this is the opportunity for you to do just that. Here are some of main roles and responsibilities:
- Overall to manage the room by example to others and thereby promote respect for the role. Your staff will learn and perform by how you perform your own role on a day to day basis
- To ensure all daily routines are adhered to and records kept up to date e.g. observations, next steps, daily activities, planning
- To plan and carry out activities in line with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage, Setting the Standards for Learning,
- Development and Care for children from birth to five, ensuring they meet with the Early Learning Goals.
- To liaise with other Room Leaders to provide a smooth transition for children

You need to hold a Level 3 qualification in child care or early years.
