Job description
Protocol Education is looking to recruit confident Resource Consultants to join our Leeds and Watford teams. You will be part of our successful, driven team that connects the best teaching and support staff with schools. This is an opportunity for a bright individual who is looking to join a leading recruitment company with the ambition to have fast-tracked career progression and high earning potential.

Role and Responsibilities:
• To coordinate the registration of candidates and monitor completion of candidate files (i.e. to make sure we hold all the necessary information to allow a teacher or teaching assistant to work in a school)
• To answer incoming calls and deal with queries from both schools and teachers. You will work closely with your line Manger generating weekly reports to assist in the effective utilisation of candidates
• To provide administrative and sales support to the Recruitment Consultants and a branch
• To develop and manage a candidate pool of prospective teachers and / or support workers who are interested in working in Primary, Secondary, SEND and / or mainstream environments, both in specialist colleges and mainstream schools
• To attract and interview candidates from a variety of sources, then marketing those candidates to our recruitment consultants for placement in both long-term contract and daily cover positions. There is no direct selling involved – our branch sales consultants manage all the school placements.
• To support the team with teacher bookings and assist with contacting schools to see if they have any requirements that we can assist them with
• To be able to work in a busy sales environment, to perform under pressure and be able to meet tight deadlines

The ideal candidate will have:
• Have a teaching / support work background, with a detailed understanding of school requirements and candidate skill sets
• Be likeable, energetic and enthusiastic, with strong influencing and managerial skills
• Have the organisational and administrative skills to manage a large pool of candidates
• Be innovative and creative in identifying, headhunting and retaining candidates
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced commercial environment
• Proven communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and ability to influence
• Great passion to live the values of the organisation, maintaining a consistent and positive approach to contributing to the business, owning performance and standards

• An annual salary of between £18,000 – 20,000 + Commission
• Intensive initial training program, an outstanding learning & development plan

• Reduced working hours over school holiday periods (9am - 4pm)
