A welcoming and inclusive primary school in North Bristol is opening a brand-new resource base for children with Communication and Interaction needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).

This exciting new provision will support 20 pupils initially, growing over time, and the school is now looking for a passionate SEND Teacher and Resource Base Lead to help build and lead the provision from day one.

The role

You’ll lead teaching and learning within the school’s specialist resource base, delivering personalised learning programmes that support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally.

Working closely with families, staff, and the wider school community, you’ll play a key role in developing an inclusive provision where children feel safe, understood, and ready to succeed.

You’ll also support and develop staff within the provision, helping to build a skilled and confident team around the children.

This role requires fluency in spoken English to support pupils, staff, and families effectively.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
