Protocol Education is recruiting for care and support workers for our client residental school in Broadstairs.

This position hs different shift patterns available.

 

This role requires no experience as full training is provided.  You will however be flexible, confident and kind and feel comfortable in working with children and young people with intellectual difficulties, autism and associated challenging behaviour. As you gain more experience you will be expected to support young peoples ongoing learning and personl development.

 

This position is temp to perm and after a few weeks, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to go onto a permanent contract with the school.

Abilities and skills required-

  • Ability to follow and contribute to young peoples support and care plans.
  • Ability to assist in the carrying out of day routines and activities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Self awareness and emotional resilience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
