Job description
We are working with a specialist residential school who offering flexible education and care throughout the year, for students aged 11 to 19.
All the students have complex needs including behaviour that may be challenging and learning disabilities, often in association with autism.

They are looking for Support Assistant to work within the school and also the residential home.
Working shifts are usually 7 hours a day between 7am and 9pm
Successful applicants will have the following:
• Level 3 in Health and Social Care
• Experience working with SEN Student
• DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one
• Supply 2 references including most recent employer
The role of teaching assistant is to help our students engage effectively with their learning in a happy, secure, caring and effective environment. You will also help the student with day to day chores before and after school.
