Due to the current climate, and ever changing situation around education, we are urgently seeking dedicated tutors to work on an intervention basis with young people across the area. The learners we cater for having varying vulnerabilities, including SENd requirements and social worker involvement, and are unable to access school. This could be because they were permanently excluded prior to the partial school closures, or because they are currently not on a school roll.
Tutors will be required to provide tailored education packages for children on a 1-to-1 basis, on a remote basis using online technologies where available.
Our tutors are able to take on as many or as few students as they like and often manage their own caseload. Sessions are usually to take place during school hours however we are able to offer some flexibility where required.
- Experience working with children or young people
- QTS status (or equivalent qualification) / a relevant degree / extensive cover supervision experience
- A basic understanding of the UK curriculum as a minimum
- Ideally recent experience in tuition/ teaching
Protocol Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
