Reception Teacher – “Where Little Journeys Begin”

Are you ready to inspire the very first steps in a child’s learning journey?

We’re looking for a nurturing, creative, and passionate Reception Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Watford from September 2026. This is a truly special opportunity to shape children’s earliest experiences of education—laying the foundations for a lifelong love of learning.

You’ll create a vibrant, play-based environment where curiosity thrives and every child feels safe, valued, and excited to explore. From phonics and early number skills to imaginative role play and outdoor learning, your classroom will be a space full of discovery, laughter, and growth.

The school prides itself on its supportive leadership, collaborative Early Years team, and strong focus on staff wellbeing. You’ll have access to high-quality resources, ongoing CPD, and the freedom to bring your creative ideas to life.

✨ Full-time, permanent opportunity
✨ Supportive and experienced EYFS team
✨ Well-resourced indoor and outdoor learning spaces
✨ Strong focus on child-centred learning and development

We’re looking for someone who:
✔ Has a genuine passion for Early Years education
✔ Understands the EYFS framework and child development
✔ Is warm, patient, and enthusiastic
✔ Can build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

If you’re ready to make a lasting impact from the very beginning, we’d love to hear from you.
