Job description
Outstanding EYFS Teacher required Tower Hamlets

Successful candidates will be:

* Experienced in working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (Reception desirable)

* Flexible and engaging with the ability to deliver the EYFS curriculum effectively

* Positive, creative and up for a challenge

* Prepared to work in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets

* Prepared to work within a religious school and respect the Roman Catholic ethos

The school is a smaller than average 1 form entry Roman Catholic school. There is a high proportion of pupils eligible for free school meals and the percentage of pupils from minority ethnic groups is much higher than average and represent a huge variety of ethnic backgrounds. This means the number of pupils who speak English as an additional language is above average.

Pupils with Special Educational Needs and/or disabilities is in line with the national average and, in general, children have difficulties with literacy, language and communication. Only a small number have behavioural, emotional and social difficulties. The school's provision for the Early Years Foundation Stage consists of a Nursery and a Reception class. The school is in a federation with a local school, with which it shares a governing body.
