Apply now for an exciting new position working in a specialist SEND school in Southwark. Working with students with different backgrounds in small classes of around 6-8 students. You will be in charge of planning and leading lessons tailored to the needs of the pupils in your class.

Your responsibilities
·Classroom teacher for a SEND School.
·Directly meeting the needs of pupils with a variety of SEND needs.
·Including assisting primary pupils with individual learning programmes, extending to the transition of children to Key Stage 3.
·Full time availability 8.30am-4pm, Monday-Friday.

What you need
·QTS or overseas equivalent qualification.
·Successful experience working with SEND pupils and experience in a multidisciplinary team context with understanding of collaborative roles.
·Clear understanding of relevant legislation including the SEND Code of Practice 2014.
·Skills in tailoring curricula to a range of pupil's specific needs.

·Flexibility in working to suit your schedule.
