Job description
Are you a qualified Nursery Assistant or Nursery Nurse who has experience working with children aged 2-5 years?

Are you seeking a new challenge or a more flexible schedule?

Protocol Education are working closely with a number of nurseries and children centres in Cambridge and the surrounding area who are looking for enthusiastic and flexible candidates who can provide a safe and caring environment for their children.

• Nursery Nurse

• Level 2 or 3 NNEB or NVQ in Childcare (or equivalent) is ESSENTIAL. Strong literacy and numeracy ESSENTIAL

To succeed in this role you will need to be an enthusiastic and pro-active individual. You will need to be able to promote a calm and stimulating environment for the children and encourage independence. Familiarity with the Early Years curriculum would also be desirable.

The opportunities that Protocol has to offer are extremely flexible; we have day-to-day work, long-term placements and a choice of part-time or full-time roles.

The pay rate for nursery work start at £8.07 per hour. We also have the option for you to get paid in a tax-friendly way where you can claim for your travel and food expenses.

All candidates must be able to provide two years' of references.
