Job description
Are you a friendly, dedicated, caring and Qualified Nursery Assistant?

We are currently looking to recruit Qualified Nursery Assistants in Cambridgeshire in and around the CB4 area to work on a supply basis

We are looking for candidates that are nurturing, passionate and proactive in creating a happy, safe and secure environment for the children where they can learn and develop to reach their full potential.

The ideal Qualified Nursery Assistant applicant will be able to engage young children and have a can do' attitude. You will be confident working with babies and young children and have a calm and nurturing approach.

Key responsibilities of Qualified Nursery Assistant:

Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop
Plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning that enables children to progress and prepares them for school
Supervise mealtimes
Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children
Make accurate and effective use of assessment reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the individual children

Qualified Nursery Assistants must have:
•Level 2 or 3 Qualification (NNEB, CACHE or NVQ).
•Experience working or in placement with children, ideally in an Early Years setting (Nursery, Pre-School, Children's Centre, Reception class)
•Access to a car or public transport
•Be able to use your own initiative whilst working
•Ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the setting requiring cover.
