We're working with welcoming Secondary Schools in Brent looking for a dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join their team. Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for a fresh start or you're ready to build on your early teaching experience, this could be just the opportunity you've been waiting for.

What you'll be doing

  • Teaching Modern Foreign Languages across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach French, Spanish or German
  • Delivering engaging, well-planned lessons that build confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing
  • Creating a positive, inclusive classroom where every student feels encouraged to communicate and succeed
  • Assessing progress, providing meaningful feedback and helping pupils reach their full potential
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to the wider life of the school

What we're looking for

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages within a secondary school
  • The ability to teach at least one modern foreign language, such as French, Spanish or German
  • Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
  • A genuine commitment to helping young people develop confidence and a love of languages
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
