We're working with a range of welcoming secondary schools across Redcar and the surrounding areas that are recruiting Maths Teachers for September starts. From algebra and geometry to problem-solving and exam preparation, you'll help students build confidence in Maths while creating an engaging and supportive learning environment where every learner can succeed.

What you'll be doing:

• Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
• Delivering engaging lessons that bring even the trickiest topics to life
• Creating a positive classroom where students feel confident to have a go
• Managing behaviour with calm confidence and consistency
• Supporting students as they prepare for assessments and GCSEs

What we're looking for:

• Experience teaching Maths in secondary schools (KS3/KS4 essential)
• Experience working in UK schools
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred, although experienced unqualified teachers are also encouraged to apply
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships quickly
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
