We're working with welcoming Secondary Schools in Harrow looking for a dedicated Humanities Teacher to join their team. Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for a fresh start or you're ready to build on your early teaching experience, this could be just the opportunity you've been waiting for.

What you'll be doing

  • Teaching Humanities across Key Stages 3 and 4, including subjects such as History, Geography and Religious Education
  • Delivering engaging, well-planned lessons that spark curiosity, encourage debate and inspire a love of learning
  • Creating a positive, inclusive classroom where every student feels confident to share ideas and succeed
  • Assessing progress, providing meaningful feedback and helping pupils reach their full potential
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to the wider life of the school

What we're looking for

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Humanities within a secondary school
  • Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
  • A genuine commitment to helping young people grow in confidence and achieve their best
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
