Protocol Education are seeking to appoint pupil support workers to work flexibly within a variety of schools in the South Gloucestershire area. There are currently a large range of schools within the cluster that you would be working between, with the schools feeling that Vulnerable Support Worker would be hugely successful in helping to lower fixed-term and permanent exclusions aswell as raise SEN outcomes for some of their most vulnerable learners.

The ideal candidate will:
• have a proven ability to support pupils with additional
needs, including those with SEMH and an avoidant
profile;
• have experience of working with children outside of
the class room on a 1:1 basis as well as integrating
children back into mainstream classes;
• are committed to the well-being of all children;
• are committed to developing pupils' independence;
• can help to develop social skills and establish
positive relationships with children and adults;


This role will be working 20 hours per week (hours tbc) starting asap until the end of March initially. The role is more than likely carrying on until the end of the school year, but to be confirmed over the next few months.

TA's with previous SEMH experience would be an excellent fit for this position, as well as Youth Workers and Social Workers looking for a different role.

•UK eligibility to work, an enhanced DBS dated within the last year or willingness to have one undertaken at the cost of £44
•The ability to be flexible and adaptable on a daily basis
