You must have the ability to work on your own initiative in a responsible and reliable way as the school are looking for someone who is confident and able to communicate effectively with both children and staff. You will also be expected to assist pupils with practical input and support in specific subject or work areas and as part of a team, get involved in the planning, delivery and review of activities. The ability to Implement school policies and behaviour standards as well as promoting positive relationships is essential and experience supporting core subjects such as Maths, English and Science would also be an advantage.

Ideally the school are looking for a Level 3 Qualified practitioner with a Cache or NVQ in childcare or similar qualification, however other qualifications and or experience in a similar role will also be taken into consideration for the right person as the most important quality is a desire and passion to work with and engage with children.

In return you will be offered a supportive environment and will be working with a consultant who is dedicated to ensuring that the role is the right fit for you as well as the school. Salary will be negotiable depending on experience.
