Job description
A dynamic and forward thinking Pupil Referral unit in Rotherham are looking for a class Teacher to join their successful team on a flexible basis to cover absence and holidays. It is important for the school is to have consistency in their staff in order to build meaningful relationships with the pupils so the will be looking for the successful candidate to commit, this person will also be considered for permanent positions

This position will be working with EBD pupils who are disengaged, have lower than average attainment levels, and complex behaviours including ADHD and autism. The class teacher will be expected to deliver Maths to KS3 pupils who are working at primary level or just above.

You will be required to deliver engaging lessons whilst managing behaviour and join in with existing staff in meetings to share ideas and develop individual learning plans.

The team you will join are dynamic, fun and supportive of one another and they will be looking for someone to engage and join their vision of developing pupils futures.

As this position is in a PRU it would be beneficial to have PRU experience or similar and a Team Teach certificate would be desirable.
