We’re working with a welcoming secondary school in Northumberland, right on the edge of Newcastle, that’s on the lookout for a Psychology teacher to join their team on a 0.6 basis for maternity cover from September 2026. The school has a strong focus on engaging lessons and high expectations, helping students feel confident, supported and ready to achieve their best.

This role will mainly involve teaching Psychology, alongside Religious Education across KS3 and KS4. If you enjoy getting students thinking about behaviour, belief systems, and the bigger questions about how we understand the world, you’ll feel right at home here.

• Teaching Psychology within a well-established department

• Delivering RE across KS3 and KS4

• Planning engaging lessons that get students questioning, debating and thinking critically
