Psychology Graduates in Leeds & Wakefield


Are you looking for an exciting challenge as a SEN Behaviour Support Worker? It's a great opportunity to develop professionally and even use it as a springboard to become a Teacher or a have a rewarding career working with Young People.

At Protocol Education we are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dynamic Behaviour Support Workers to work in one of a number of fantastic SEN Schools in and around the Leeds and Wakefield areas. Our SEN Schools provide learning to SEMH, ASC, ASD as well as other challenges to learning. You will need to be resilient in order to support and nurture the young people in these settings in order for them to go on and contribute to society in a positive way. These roles are both temporary and supply, as well as long-term positions which invariably go permanent.

We are looking for enthusiastic and pro-active individuals who have the potential to become an excellent practitioner, who can take on a creative and dynamic approach to learning and are willing to commit to on a long-term basis to a setting. We are looking for individuals with a genuine passion and an understanding of SEN learning environments. The schools we work with are looking for individuals who have a solid work ethic, who can bring their enthusiasm and specialist knowledge to help students learning and development. Graduates with either a Sports, Psychology / Social Sciences or Drama based degree are highly welcomed, as these transferable skill sets have led to very successful outcomes for both the Young people and the support assistants.

• A DBS certificate with a live subscription to the update service or be willing to get one
• Two professional references within the last three years
• Someone who is committed to the safeguarding of young people
