Are you a Psychology graduate fascinated by how children develop, learn and communicate?

Protocol Education is looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Gateshead.

This is a hands-on opportunity to take what you've learned at university and see it applied every day in a school environment.

You'll work with pupils who may need additional support with learning, communication, behaviour, emotional regulation and social development.

Your Day Could Include:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis
• Running or assisting with small-group activities
• Supporting classroom learning
• Encouraging communication and interaction
• Helping pupils regulate their emotions
• Supporting positive behaviour
• Encouraging independence
• Helping pupils develop confidence
• Observing and responding to individual needs
• Working closely with teachers and support staff
