We are looking for an eager Psychology graduates to work at our specialist school in Runnymede, Surrey. We are looking for someone to work closely with a team of professionals to provide tailored and specific support for young people who have additional requirements in either academic or communicative development. We need someone who is confident in relationship building, and we are particularly keen to speak to those who have experience supporting students with varying SEN requirements.

This Specialist provision has great facilities and a brilliant ethos. The schools mainly caters for children with ASD, this experience is essential.

The role:

-The ideal candidate would have training in personal care, moving and handling, team teach and ASD, PMLD experience
We are interested in Psychology graduates who have closely studied children with ASD.
-Be available for day to day, short and long term work
-Support students in your care to complete day to day tasks.
-Ensure all personal care needs are met if necessary/appropriate.
-Follow Care and Education plans set to specific individual requirements.
-Support young people with personal and academic needs.
-Assisting with learning and social skills
-Carrying out interactive activities to help build their knowledge
-Liaise with teaching staff and external parties following care plans
